A Jira-Enterprise Architect plugin, that aim to integrate these tools in two ways. First, an automated MDA engine that exports UML Activity Diagrams in OSWorkflow format that can be imported in the Jira workflow engine, giving a simple way acustomized issue typed Jira workflows. Second, a smart box interface that connects UML diagram elements directly to the Jira issues. This connector enable scenarios like it: 1) An Business Analyst create an new User Case in EA; 2) This Use Case (and your "status") are automatic mapped to a new Jira issue by the plugin; 3) The Developer "start progress" in the issue; 4) The plugin synchronize the "Jira issue status" with the respectively "Use Case status in EA"; 5) the Business Analyst can, in EA, generate up to date Use Case Point reports, filtering your Use Cases by status, like Open or In Progress, by example; 6) The Developer resolve the issue; 7) So, the plugin again synchronize this status in the EA Use Case; 8) New up to date reports can be generated by the Business Analyst; 9) The cicle are formed. |
